Last Spring, I had the opportunity to put together a small styled photoshoot at Fete of Wales. I found a model, picked out the dress as well as the florals and venue for this photoshoot and it turned out better than I could have ever dreamed! I was envisioning a pink wedding dress or ball gown with colorful florals, channeling the Disney princess Aurora. All of the elements came together I was able to capture incredible images! This was a fun and creative experience for me, it was one of the first photoshoots I had after having my daughter and it got my creativity flowing.
Fete of Wales is a stunning wedding venue. I had wanted to photograph at Fete because of its abundance of natural light in the venue and stunning grounds. Fete of Wales boasts 13 acres of alluring natural landscapes including fields, a pond and many pathways through the tall grasses. It was not difficult to find the perfect backdrops for this photoshoot! We used the glowy, golden hour light to set the tone for the photoshoot. I truly enjoyed incorporating their cute blue paddle boat into the photoshoot. Paige was so excited to get to step into the boat and she managed to balance perfectly on the water! I was very impressed, and was holding my breath the entire time she was standing in the boat. I did not want her to fall into the pond!
Flora Elements in Delafield provided the absolutely marvelous florals for this photoshoot. Her work is beautiful and is always a pleasure to photograph! The way that Lisa layers the florals in the bouquet always makes them a stunning work of art.
Enjoy this Spring Styled Photoshoot!
