There is something about the Milwaukee Skyline that feels electric in the spring. The cool blue of Lake Michigan, the clean architectural lines of the city, and the way the light dances off the water — it creates the most stunning backdrop for senior portraits. And this particular session? It was one of those evenings I will not forget.

Oconomowoc Wedding

Seth and Courtney’s Oconomowoc wedding was exactly that — bright blue skies in the morning, warm summer light pouring through windows, and then, just as the afternoon unfolded, dark clouds rolled in and storms followed. And you know what? It was beautiful. As a wedding photographer, I’ve learned that the weather rarely defines a wedding day. The way you respond to it does. And Seth and Courtney embraced every shift in the forecast with joy, flexibility, and complete trust.

A Destination Family Session in Greenville, South Carolina | The Smith Family There is something incredibly special about being invited into a family’s story — and it feels even more meaningful when that story takes me somewhere new. As a Destination Family Photographer, I recently had the honor of photographing the Smith family in Greenville, […]

Top 5 Wedding Venues in Milwaukee Wisconsin: Milwaukee Wedding Photographer Edition One of the questions I get asked most often as a Milwaukee wedding photographer is:“What are your favorite venues in Milwaukee?” And honestly? We are spoiled here. Milwaukee is full of venues that offer character, history, architecture, and stunning light — all of the […]

There is something incredibly sacred about a Fall Maternity Session — especially when it takes place at Holy Hill. The rolling hills, the breathtaking basilica rising above the trees, the golden Wisconsin light filtering through autumn leaves — it all feels reverent. Peaceful. Intentional. This particular fall maternity session at Holy Hill was everything I love about photographing motherhood. The air was crisp, the leaves were layered in shades of amber and rust, and there was a quiet anticipation woven into every moment.

Why I Love Photographing Seniors on the Edge of What’s Next As a Milwaukee Senior Photographer, there is something incredibly special about photographing seniors standing right on the edge of what’s next. Senior year is full of anticipation and uncertainty all at once. There are big dreams, unanswered questions, and a thousand decisions that feel […]

As a Wisconsin wedding photographer, there are some venues that instantly take your breath away — and The Heidel House on Green Lake is absolutely one of them. Steve and Maddie’s summer wedding at the Heidel House was timeless, joyful, and deeply personal. From the stunning red brick hotel with its crisp white trim to the sparkling lake views and thoughtful details woven throughout the day, every part of their celebration felt intentional and elegant. And yes — their beloved cat, Calvin, may have stolen the show.

Hi, I’m Meredith—and if you’re here, chances are we’re about to work together in a really meaningful season of your life. Before we do, I want you to know who I am, where this business came from, and why I care so deeply about the people who step in front of my camera.

As a Milwaukee family photographer, there is something incredibly sacred about walking alongside a family through every season of life. It is one thing to photograph a single milestone. It is another thing entirely to photograph the whole story. I have had the honor of capturing couples at their engagement session… then their wedding day… then maternity portraits… then newborn snuggles… and eventually their one-year family photos — sometimes with cake-covered smiles and wobbly first steps. There is nothing more meaningful than that continuity!

If I had a dollar for every time a couple told me, “We’re so awkward in front of the camera,” I could probably fund an entire wedding on my own. And here’s the thing—I always smile when I hear that. Not because I think it’s true (it rarely is), but because I know exactly how to help couples move past that fear. As a Milwaukee wedding photographer, making people feel comfortable isn’t just part of my job—it’s something I’ve spent my entire adult life learning how to do.
