There is something about fall in Wisconsin that just hits differently—especially along the lake. Jake and Catherine’s Lakeshore Park Engagement session in Milwaukee was the kind of evening that makes you slow down, take a deep breath, and fully soak it all in. Crisp air, golden leaves, the city skyline glowing in the distance, and a couple so naturally connected it felt effortless to photograph them.

Milwaukee Engagement Session: There’s something magical about photographing love stories along the shores of Lake Michigan, and Kohler-Andrae State Park is one of my absolute favorite spots to do just that. Nestled just south of Sheboygan, this gem of a park boasts rolling sand dunes, golden light, and miles of serene shoreline — the perfect backdrop for a dreamy summer engagement session.

I had the joy of photographing Jordan and Molly’s engagement session at Kohler-Andrae last summer and they will be tying the knot next month at the beautiful Oneida Country Club in Green Bay. Their chemistry was effortless, and the warm summer breeze off the lake made the whole evening feel like a scene from a romance film.
