Oh, this one’s special. Brianna’s Lake Country senior session in Delafield was one of those perfect fall afternoons where everything just clicked. The air was warm, the trees were showing off with golden leaves, and Brianna? She brought the sunshine with her. We met at the historic Delafield Fish Hatchery building, one of my favorite hidden gems in Lake Country. Its charming stonework and vintage details give every photo a sense of timelessness—like it’s always been waiting for seniors like Brianna to step into its light.

Some mornings feel extra magical, and Jake’s Retzer Nature Center Senior Session was one of them. We met on a bright, sunny morning at Retzer Nature Center, just outside of Waukesha, Wisconsin, the day before he started his first day of senior year in high school. There’s something special about capturing a senior on the last day of summer vacation—full of anticipation, energy, and hope for what’s ahead—and Jake’s session perfectly reflected that feeling.
