Austin and Lindsay decided to make their freezing winter engagement session a fun date night! Do not be fooled, it was a chilly 25 degrees when we ventured out to take these photos. It is humbling when my couples trust me completely. They know that they will get great photos, even if the weather does not cooperate. Austin and Lindsay were going to see a stage performance of Mamma Mia! in Milwaukee after their engagement photoshoot. I could not stop singing the songs from the production in my head during this session. I am a huge fan of Broadway musicals and Mamma Mia! is one of my favorites!

When we first started planning their engagement session, Lindsay told me that she had the perfect location in mind. She told me that across the street from their condo, there was an incredible view of downtown Milwaukee. I do not venture into Milwaukee often for photoshoots, but I am always ready for an adventure and love finding new locations to photograph. This location did not disappoint! The view of Milwaukee was absolutely STUNNING and made the perfect backdrop for their engagement photos!

Austin and Lindsay will always have a strong connection to Milwaukee. They have lived there for a few years and enjoy the city lifestyle including all of the entertainment that Milwaukee has to offer. Sadly, some chapters come to a close and Austin and Lindsay will soon be moving out of the city and into their newly purchased home in the suburbs. They were buzzing with excitement talking about their new home but also were incredibly nostalgic walking around their neighborhood taking these photos. I am very honored that they shared this piece of Milwaukee with me and that they let me capture their engagement session in a location near and dear to their hearts!
