LaRocque Farms outside of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin is a stunning new wedding venue. I had the privilege of photographing Will and Sarah’s engagement session on their incredible property! LaRocque Farms boasts 80 acres of picturesque farmland located conveniently right outside of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. They have a beautiful, white sailcloth tent up for weddings and events in the Spring, Summer and Fall that adds elegance to any event. For this particular engagement session we took advantage of the dock, pond, gazebo and white barn to set the tone for Will and Sarah’s photos!

Will and Sarah traveled from Illinois to have their engagement pictures taken. We decided that the Lake Geneva area seemed to be the best half-way point for us to meet. I had wanted to photograph at LaRocque Farms and once I suggested it as a location, they were sold! I enjoy picking out locations for all sessions based on my client’s needs. Will and Sarah were looking for stunning nature backgrounds and wanted to incorporate water into their engagement portrait session. LaRocque Farms checked all of their boxes! It was the perfect location to showcase their love.

During this September Engagement session, LaRocque Farms also boasted many different wildflowers. These wildflowers gave Will and Sarah vibrant pops of color into their gallery. We also lucked out and had an incredible, glowy sunset! As a wedding and portrait photographer, I took full advantage of the sunset. Because couples do not always get a dreamy sunset for their sessions, I needed to make sure we nailed everything towards the end of the photoshoot. However, this was not difficult, since Will and Sarah are naturals in front of the camera. I cannot wait to photograph their wedding next year!
