You cannot go wrong with taking family portraits in Fall! Wisconsin has many beautiful traits, but the way Fall shows off its colors is my favorite part of living here! Fall family portrait sessions are my most popular portrait session. If you are planning on getting Fall family photos taken, check in with photographers as soon as possible to check their availability! We try to fit in as many photoshoots as possible, but colors are only at peak for about 2 weeks. I can tell you from experience, those two weeks are the busiest time of the year for me! This Waukesha Fall family portraits session was filled with peak Fall colors and smiles. Although you would never know it, it was a chilly Fall day when these photos were taken! It was a crisp 40 degrees, however you can only see this families rosy glow throughout the gallery.

The Connor Family started out on the East Coast but moved back to Wisconsin to be closer to family. While they are excited to be closer to family, the lower temperatures are still shocking to their systems. They were troopers sticking with me through this short family portrait session. Mom was very excited to get Fall foliage in the background of their portraits. We picked this location because it not only has an incredible view but also has lush fields of wild grasses and flowers. It is the perfect backdrop to show off Wisconsin’s natural beauty.
